if he doesn't return to Earth dressed in white robes and a halo surrounded by a Gloria chorus of angels and trumpets blatting his followers won't recognize him and of course he'll have to appear as they expect him to appear.
see? Jesus remains forever in stasis. he is unable to change. unable to express himself any further than the N.T. , he is not allowed a life of his own outside the needs and requirements of his followers dictates. he is not allowed to manifest any differently than how his followers expect. if he dares step outside the criteria of his followers he automatically loses his deity/savior status. they might even call him the Antichrist! he can't be himself if they don't believe him to be himself so he best manifest as they believe he will.
PS. thanks for proving my point Prince M. must be a powerful feeling to be able to dictate to your omnipotent god how he will reveal himself. i mean ... wow!

technology and philosophy being according to good judgment can't answer a stinker like this one. i'm going to bypass away this one to the two the Theologians or the Psychologists, whose theories are according to something different than reason... And who wears Jesus costumes on Halloween? i've got by no skill seen that, different than at person events at Swinger's golf equipment, yet not one of the chicks there could have unsuitable the pretend Jesus for the genuine ingredient! While I do believe in God, and Jesus, I have an interesting thought regarding the "return of Jesus."
Basically, with the way our society seems to be going, and the outlook religionists seem to have, it seems to me that IF & WHEN Jesus makes his second coming, no one in these days will believe it's really him.
I see hime being called a "False Prophet" by many, as that seems to be the norm for any "new revelation."
So the real question could be... What if he's already here, and we've discounted him?

Jesus do not belong to this world, There will be no changes in His dress code. That dress He wore because He born as a human being to take all sins of this world. As a human sense we think and imagine about His ways. But they are beyond our Imagination. He puts the people who even do not think about thier life after death. We always worry about our problems and commitments in this world which ends at any time. We are not secure here. But after death, we I maen whoever born again, will have a life where we will not have anything to do rather that praise and adhore Him. That is everlasting.
