I have noticed all the replies are right and hope you find out if he is using drugs or not.
My concern is you and your well-being, how are you coping, do you have a close friend or someone you can talk to. The more worried you are about your boyfriend the more down and stressed you must become. You cant help your boyfriend if he wont help himself, you can only support him if he decides to tell you if he is taking drugs. You must take care of yourself and talk to someone, like a counsellor, minister or psychologist etc. You need support and help to perhaps prepare yourself in the event he is using drugs again.
Look after yourself first and make sure you have a support system for both of you. Good Luck

I dont know how easy it gonna be.I dont know if this is a family member or what.I am gonna take it for granted that you see this person every day........ok,one way would be isolation, not wanting to be around anybody. Particually family members, spouses, people close to him/her. Eyes blood shot, not wanting to look directily at the person he is talking to.Heres a big one, Not going to work. constantly calling in. If not work, school.Change of friends.Staying out at night, maybe not even coming home. Becoming irritrable ,sometimes maybe even angry at times....Maybe some stuff seems to be missing around the house....People on drugs will steal from their own mothers...Thats all I can think of right now. I hope this helps a little, and God knows I hope and pray its not a close family member.. Take Care now..

Depending on what drugs you think they are on, I would look for glossy eyes, red eyes, low eyelids, dilated pupils, skin blotches weight change, foul odors--or you can ask them -sometimes if let the person know that you are not trying to judge them, but you would like to know why they are behaving in a different manner that concerns you. They may answer truthfully-but let them know you care for their health and well being, just be loving about the approach.

Depends on what kind of drugs you are talking about. If you dont want to get to medical like having a urine test, then just look for symptoms.

You could look at their eye pupils. Drugs like percocet and oxy will give you small pinpoint pupils. Morphine will dilate the pupils and make them large. Do a google search on eyes and the drugs you suspect.

Which drugs???
Pot will make them lethargic, lazy, & forgetful. Suddenly sleeping all the time is a dead give-away.
If they are out freakishly long hours, like staying out until 8 in the morning, then they are probably taking Ecstasy.

If you want to find out if someone is on drugs, a urine test would be helpful, if thats not possible, look for glazed, or blood shot eyes.

Well you could ask them.
Depends on what drugs, as to what symptoms. Look for anything other than their normal behaviours...
