I bought my push-up bars at Wal-Mart. They're lightweight, easy to assemble and small. They allow you to get a larger range of motion when you're doing a push-up. The link here has a picture of what I'm talking about:

With push-ups, the greater the distance between your hands, the more you will use your pectoral muscles. If you bring your hands in closer, you will use your triceps more. Here's a link with instructions on doing a proper push-up:

Once you're comfortable doing regular push-ups (with or without the bars), you can also elevate your feet by putting them on a sturdy piece of furniture or steps. This will shift the emphasis of the motion to a different part of your chest.

Another piece of equipment you can buy that's apartment-friendly is a stability ball. There are tons of exercises you can do on them. You can even do the elevated push-ups with your feet on the ball.

Sure....push ups. By varying the hand width and body position you can work the pecs and the triceps as good as any machine. The wider your hands are apart the more you work the outside of the chest, the close the more you work the inside and the triceps. By placing your feet in a chair you actually work the upper chest and by placing your hands on a stack of books you get a better range of motion that increases chest size. If you can afford it, get a pair of dumb bells. They take up zero space. Dumb bells are the best weights to use for any exercise because they force you to balance them individually, which increases the intensity of the work out. Doing flies...lying on your back with the arms stretched out ( like a jesus pose) with the dumbbells in your hand and bringing them together over your chest will widen the chest as well. And dumbbell bench press work the chest better than bar bell press due to the increase range of motion. You do not need money to get in shape, just a strong desire. Good luck.

you don't need a product. yoga/isometrics, push ups will work fine. think of it this way you have your entire bodyweight to lift
all the time (200 lbs?) learn to lift it with your pecs and it will build them up.
