I am a student and training to be a physician. I am considering many specialties and want to be of greatest use to society. Which specialty should I choose?

i would think that GP (general practitioner) is the best specialty.
greatest use probably lies in where you practice and who you serve. if you serve the unserved in africa, asia, south america that would be greatest service to society imho. be a GP and join doctors without borders and treat people who otherwise have no access to health care.
