Which one would work better with making decent/good quality videos for guitar lessons, and other misc. music things.

This is the same camera - once in in blue and once in black/ silver. (Compare the specifications.)
Frankly, it blows for making videos. It can only record in VGA 640x480 pixels at a super choppy 15 frames per second, or at a lousy 320x240 pixels (good luck trying to see what chords your playing) at 30 frames per second.
But wait, there's more! This camcorder blows even HARDER in camera mode. It has only 3 megapixels to begin and zich optical zoom. If you zoom in at all, you'll get better image quality out of a phone camera. Or an Etch A Sketch, for that matter.
Dude, I'm sorry to break it to you, but this camcorder is junk. It's the same with most inexpensive 5-in-1 devices: they do all 5 things half assed.

either camera would do a good job but you'll need to make sure to reinforce your video with additional lighting and miking (the small built-in microphone won't do your guitar's sound any justice). mp4 will be recognized by youtube so you won't have to do any re-encoding. if you have more money, invest in a better camera.
