For the past 5 days I have been feeling very unmotivated and have a very "blah" feeling. I can't seem to shake the feeling. It could just be "Winter Blues". But how do I get rid of it?

Get as much sunlight as possible. Force yorself to get up and do some exercise, even if it is just a walk. More vigorous exercise will release endorphins that will definitely elevate your mood.

For what works best (if I don't lock myself up in my place for the weekend) is to get out and treat myself to something special.
A pedicure, manicure or facial is always great.
Or splurge on that special piece of clothing you wanted but didn't want to spend the money.
It all depends on your situation, if you have family responsibilities or not.
But long winters seem to have that effect on many people.

You go and do something just for yourself. Buy something or go do things with some friends. Got out to eat with boyfriend/girlfriend. You can also go to the pet store. Animals help out a lot.

Am there myself... doc suggested sitting 15 min a day in direct, unfiltered sunlight...oddly enough, it helps marginally.
