Itching after is normal as well! Just like any scab that you have from a normal cut or scrape on your body..it's your body healing :) Just don't scratch and leave a scab on your tattoo or you may scratch too deep and pull up skin, thus removing some of the color.

Don't treat it with antibiotic ointment... A good lotion is the best method. Itching is normal - it's a "cut" that is healing... Once the scab is completely gone, the itch will be too.

it is TOTALY normal...but whatever you do ... DO NOT SCRATCH YOUR TAT....it'll mess it up WAY badly!!!! what i did was itch AROUND it or say my tat was on my arm....i would itch my other arm.
i'm assuming since it's peeling and itching you've passed the point of putting A&D onitment on it. you should be putting nonfragrent lotion on it...if your not already doing so. this will help the itching a bit AND makes the color stronger!

Keep putting vasoline or whatever you use to put it on it. Don't scratch it alot because you don't want to mess it up.
