I do not think that asking a co-worker out and develope intimate relationship over a period is S. H.

No, if anything, sexual harrasment rules have made dating a co-worker much easier if its honest, genuine and normal.

NO I don't.

We do have strict sexual harrasment rules - obviously.

ut you obviously don't understand them.

Sexual Harrassment at work protects you agains harrasment such as you bend over at work and someone puts there hand up your skirt!

Sexual harrasment does not cover flirting and dating. You can date whoever you want (unless there are company rules which state otherwise - btw these are meant to be banned too) so go for it if that's what you want.

There are no men that wouldn't come up to you because they were at work.

Sexual harassment does not apply to men asking women out on dates. If you look up the actual rules of conduct you will see that it only applies when a person makes a woman's behavior a condition to her employment or her promotion or her rising in the company. You are perfectly free to flirt, seduce, and ask her out without fear. It's when you make her put out to advance or to keep her job that you have to worry. Only her employer or those above her really have problems, not those on the same level or those below.

Dating co-workers is a bad idea. Period.

That's regardless of sexual harrassment rules.

Think about it, if you date someone then breakup, either you have to be around them A LOT, or find another job.

I dated, seriously, with someone that's a member of my dojo. We broke up a year ago. Now everytime I see her it hurts, yet I either have to take it or leave the dojo.

"Sexual harassment" laws are there because womyn are afraid of relationships and commitment. Womyn criminalize men who ask them out, then wonder why men do not want to get married.

Duh.

We also have to ask why our strong, independent womyn are so intimidated by sex. It's quite clear that for all the talk about being "strong" and independent", too many womyn are weak and helpless and need the patriarchical state to protect them.

Womyn claim that men "just don't get it". To the contrary, growing numbers of men do "get it". This is one reason there is a marriage strike going on.

When people go to work, they go to WORK, not to get dates. That happens outside of the office. Most women — and men — would prefer to keep relationships out of the workplace.
