my chihuahua swallowed some chicken bones yesterday, the vet told me to just watch him. hes pooped 2 times so far, he seemes to be okay, show i be worrying?

if he ate them yesterday and is pooping fine he'll be ok stop worrying but be more careful wiht your chicken bones they can be dangerous

Would immediately take him to the vet, the bones could be shredding his stomach hence the blood. I don't know if the vets could do a lot although they could make him comfortable, cooked chicken bones are extremely bad and could lead to death :(

i don't know, listen to your vet. another quick fix is to feed them salt if you can catch it right after they ate them. get a cup of salt and pour it down the throat. it will make them vomit. only do this within the first hour after they eat chicken bones.

if your vet said to watch him then you are doing what is ok. just make sure that this does not happen again.
