Just moved to Vienna Austria and I take some very important medicines for depression and bipolar can I have the pharmacy here fill the rx, can my dr fax it or do I have to go to an Austrian DR HELP!!!!

Medical systems are different. You will have to go to the local doc.

In the U.S., you can't accept foreign prescriptions because the doctors don't have a DEA number. I wouldn't be surprised if the same is true for Austria. You should get new prescriptions.
Also, one other issue is that the drug names are different. Drugs approved in the U.S. might not be available in Austria and vice versa.

Try it! Or maybe the pharmacist has prescriptive authority. If not, they should be able to send you somewhere close.

My guidebook says "City hospital casualty departments will treat you and ask questions later. For prescriptions, pharmacies (Apotheke) tend to follow normal shopping hours." They don't mention foreign prescriptions.
