Sounds great. Maybe find a butcher or deli owner or someone who could incorporate some meats and/or cheeses once in a while.

Are you going to call the club "Stop Your Wining?"

That sounds good. I like a great wine. When we had the last wine party we had a guest speaker come in, and he did this trick with a bottle of champagne called "sabering". He took a sword ( yes a real sword ) and ran it down the neck of the bottle of champagne. the top of the bottle came off clean and it was the most impressive event of the evening.

Fun idea. a great way to focus on wine from different regions. I go to a wine shop that only sells wines from New York State, for instance, and the variety is amazing. Also a good way to have meet and greets for your neighborhood. you probably already recognize several regulars, I recommend you run the idea by them, as they are your target market.
Good luck!

It sounds like a wonderful idea, and appealing to your customers. We have numerous wne shops in our area that do similar deals.

It sounds counterintuitive, but one additional thought is a benefit for those that make their own wine. I'm a member of the American Homebrewer's Association (beer making), and there are restaurants and pubs that will offer discounts for card-carrying members.

By offering small discounts to them, you can increase foot traffic and inspire them to try different varieties in comparson to what they make; and you can upsell supply replenishments if you're so inclined.

Otherwise, it sounds like a good program. :)
