Do you have to be omnipotent or is having super human powers like the characters on Heros enough? Or maybe that guy that can solve a Rubik’s cube in under ten seconds... is he a God?

Being God is absolute and unconditional characteristic. you are talking about some attributes of God and of course these attributes are unique in its full reality. However, if some one claim to have this attributes, this doesn't mean that we should consider him for worshipping.

Centuries of service as an angel, and taking Ma'at's God challenge, yes you have to go through an actual challenge to become a God. Or you did at one time.
The human body supresses powers, but I can make it rain and thunder, that is if i summon up enough magic, there are Gods and Goddesses at higher levels than myself, but im decent when it comes to making the weather change.

A god is simply a supreme being thus anyone or anything in control is (in reality) a god.
If you were shot b a gun and the bullet entered your heart, the bullet would be the god of death over you. If you were sick and needed some type of medicine, the medicine would be the 'nourisher' that restores your health.
Anything in control is a god.

being "God" is a mental state of mind for alot of people. If we believe we are something that is higher of power and knowledge yet cannot accept that we are who/what we are, then we shall never really grasp the true meaning of why we exist. Basically, playing "God" is what brought down Atlantis
