Hey Brent! Good question sir! Hatton is a really good fighter and very aggressive inside the ring which would be his undoing against Chavez who throws some pretty man left hooks and body shots. While the fight lasts, there would be plenty of action and some brutal exchanges. At his best I believe that Chavez is better than Hatton and has more punching power. I see the refereee stopping this fight in round 9.

You know how highly i rate Hatton but surely this isnt a serious question Brent, Chavez is in my eyes the greatest Mexican fighter of all time, Hatton may well of beaten Chavez towards the end of his career like a few very lucky fighters did, but if Hatton fought Chavez in his prime i dont think Hatton lasts 8 rounds at the very most. Chavez has more power, more aggression and more skill.

Bet you never thought you would see me write something like this.

HATTON - W 41 (KO's 30) TF 41 - W pct 84% - KO pct 73% - wins over Pendleton and Tszyu - KO'ed by none
As of 2005 he was #50 ranked pound 4 pound current fighter.
He must fight more bouts in America.

CHAVEZ - W 108 (KO's 86) TF 116 - W pct 97% - KO pct 74% - wins over Lockridge, Rosario, Taylor{2}, R. Maywether,Camacho, Ramirez and Limon - KO'ed by Tszyu and De La Hoya[2] - #50 ranked puncher - #18 ranked fighter
Titles at 130, 135 and 140

This is a good bout, Tszyu KO'ed Chavez but was KO'ed by Hatton. Remember that styles make a fight not who beat who. Chavez was an all-time great. I pick Chavez in 15 rd unanimous decision with Hatton barely holding on at the end.

enable's be genuine. JC Chavez is arugably the suited mild Welterweight of all time. a top notch JC Chavez could smash Hatton down and KO the Hitman interior the later rounds. Chavez replaced into taller, had the longer attain, extra advantageous hand velocity and fought extra actual than Hatton ever has. Chavez may be the 1st opponent Hatton ever suddenly met he could no longer bull around the ring. i could p.c.. Chavez to win by potential of KO interior the overdue rounds.

Dude, Chavez would teach Hatton a thing or a hundred. Chavez had the testicular fortitude and enough boxing skills to seriously put him to shame. In his prime of coarse.

Bad question, you can't put Hatton in the same catergory as Chavez yet, he has'nt beaten anybody except a 38 year old Kosta Tsyzu who had'nt fought for 2 years. Hatton is good, he's a highly skilled pure boxer, with intelligence and heart, but he's not great. I saw his last fight and he was chicken.

The best light welterweight ion the world at the momernt is Ricky hatton. Hios recent fights ahve been tough but he has stood strong and come through them. He is currently 42 fights unbeated and I can't see anyone in the near future beating him

Ricky wins this one. chavez won a lot of his fights against no name opponets in mexico. He had a beefed up record. he was also given a few gifts on some of the score cards against some opponents like pernel whitaker and the stoppage of meldrick taylor. also others. Chavez was a good fighter but over rated.
