Well, technically, you're supposed to call animal control first, who are then going to come out and assess the situation long before they actually do anything. They'll attempt to corral it, then chase it, and after a few hours, finally tranq it and drag it out by force. But that's just what the law wants you to do, personally, I say shoot it and drop the corpse on your neighbor's front yard.
