If I was independently wealthy and didn't have to work, I would donate at least 5 hours a day helping those that would need and appreciate it.

I am a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. We build or restore houses that have been donated for single-parent families. We all give of our time the best we can. It is an ongoing thing. I am able to participate on my day off about twice a month.

yes, i would and have joined one of these groups. It's a great way to make new friends- and that's always good. Plus, as in the case of Habitat for Humanity, you bring such joy to other people that you can't help but feel good. I live with the thought that what I send out into the world comes back into my own, so helping others helps me too. Good luck.

I already do. I make gifts from yarn and donate them to charity auctions and fund raisers. I work on the gifts practically every waking moment of every day, except when I am on Yahoo!Answers.

Yes, I would...I believe that God has blessed me beyond measure and one of my major responsibilities in life is to be a blessing unto others. I wouldn't mind doing something like this on a weekly basis (every weekend or so).

Yes, I think that is a wonderful thing to do. I think once a month is good. It all depends on your schedule.
