A post was put up about a far reaching organized prayer campaign against the blasphemy challenge (http://www.blasphemychallenge.com/) but seems to have disapeared without warning, trace, or comment.

What exactly happened to it?

Wow, they're actually praying about that? What good do they think it will do? Maybe if they get enough people together to shout prayers at God for a long enough time, he'll wake up out of his eons-long nap and do something to stop the Big, Bad Atheists.

The Holy Spirit does not exist, it is a figment of the Christian imagination, just like God and Jesus and all the angels. There, does that count as the unpardonable blasphemy? Oh, I'm so scared now. Quaking in my shoes, even.

Prayer in ineffective.

And for most Christians it is better to quit than to learn something.

Evangelicals have known for ages that advertising is more powerful than prayer.

They figured it wouldn't do any good. Rather a wise conclusion, I might add.

Guess it didn't work for them.

I wonder how well the challenge is working.
