Black - looks best when cleaned up but the hardest to keep clean, hardest to keep waxed and gets the hottest due to sun. hardest color to deal with.

Grey - hides dirt well, won't show basic dust, hides minor and light scratches well, doesn't get too hot.

Light Blue - will show dirt, hides minor scratches, any touch up or repaints will stick out like sore thumbs due to the silver metallic within the blue (what makes it light blue).

Out of the 3 colors.....I'd choose grey. Other good choice for hiding dirt, scratches and over all ease of care....white.

The Scion tc is ok, what I've seen of them the Gray is the best. Black and white cars tend to show dirt and road grim. Certain colors aslo attract unwanted attention, like black, red, yellow, and a bright metallic silver.

Black makes every car look good, but is the hardest to keep clean and scratch free. We had a grey xb and got board of the color fast.
Go with the blue.

Find out if in your state they increase your insurance rates based on color. Sounds strange some states do.

New Jersey did I don't know if they still do.

The old system NJ used from highest to lowest

Red
Silver
Black
Yellow
with Green and Blue giving the lowest rates unless they were metalic colors.

And I don't remember where white, and orange were in the line up.

black and grey is always the safe color. light blue might become rather ugly in the future. it may look nice now, but a few years down the line, its possible it'll lose it's "coolness".

its easy to see dirt and scratches on a black car. although i myself love black cars, i will vote grey for it. safe bet and still very classy.

It sorta depends on your personality. I suppose that's how I always looked at it, are you feisty? I'd go with Red, then. Are you happy, really passive, then I'd say light blue, (that's the color I'm getting for my new car) Are you tough and intimidating, and determined? I always though the color black would be for that. Or are you classy and sophisticated? Then I'd go with gray, I dunno

I just always thought of the colors that way, lol!

But good luck and congrats on your car!
