The driving range. You can't beat hitting real balls with real clubs. Having an instructor on-hand is helpful as well.

Gary Player said that Ben Hogan told him the answer "was in the dirt" in other words practise, practise and then more practise. However, these days the best training aid for all golfers would probableably be a good video-system with the soft-ware for immediate replay on a lap-top

It depnds on what your bughet is. I'm 14 years old with a 13 handicap who's been playing for about 10 months now. I don't have that much money to spend so what I do, is practice ALOT. Anywhere from 6-7 hours in the summer and 2-3 hours during school.

My training aid is my sliding glass door to the backyard. It acts like a mirror so I can analyze my swing. Also watch the Golf Channel alot so you have seen good swings to compare yours to.

Either the momentus or the speed stik. They help with the two most important aspects of the swing. The momentus helps build the muscles that are the most important in the golf swing, and it helps to groove swing plane and tempo. The speed stik improves swing plane and greatly increases swing speed. The speed stick comes in two colors, red for golfers over 175 pounds and blue for golfers less than 175 pounds.

As far as a decision goes:

Momentus: $80 (or clone product for around $25)
Speed Stik: $100

Hope this helps and good luck.
