Children are at particular risk
Any hot tub or pool should have restricted access to prevent accidental drownings or near-drownings.
Children are more susceptible to over-heating than adults. Parents should not let their children stay in hot tubs for more than five minutes at a time. Toddlers and infants are particularly susceptible to over-heating and should not be permitted in the pool.
Small children are also more likely to get trapped underwater by the suction from an outlet opening. All pool outlets should have a screen over them that prevents this from happening.
Parental supervision is a "must" at all times. Most hot tub accidents involving children occur when they are unsupervised, or while their supervisors are momentarily distracted.

We have taken all of our children into the hot tub with us...maybe not at 3 months but defiantly by the time they were 6 months old. We are extra careful to make sure that they are not in the water all the way. (They usually only have their bums and legs in the water and we keep their torso out of the water.) We also make sure that we are not staying in longer than 15 mins at a time and we bring drinking water with us. Just take precautions and think safety first. Good luck

Children should stay out of hot tubs and spas until they are tall enough to keep their heads completely out of the water with their feet firmly touching bottom. Youngsters can quickly get overheated in hot tubs, so their visits should be kept brief. No one, adult or child, should ever submerge his or her head in a hot tub or spa. Because the temperature encourages the growth of certain microorganisms, an earful of water from a hot tub or spa can lead to an external ear infection. Far worse, long hair, which fans out when the head is submerged, can get caught in a spa or hot tub grate and cause drowning.

water for a baby's bath should absolutely be no more than 100 degrees. 90-95 is best. i am pretty sure most hottubs are a lot higher than that, so definitely keep your baby out! also, hot tubs can be great places to pick up lots of bacteria... so there's another good reason to keep your baby away!

Is he strolling ok? Is he crying? Are his pads distinctly crimson? Many cats like the tub. i've got even had some fall in together as i grew to become into bathing. Rinse the cleansing soap off by using wiping him gently with a humid clean washcloth. Rinse it in many cases and dry him with a towel as you bypass alongside.

i would advise that you not attempt this. for one it may not be hot to you but it may be to the baby. second if the water in the hot tub isn't hot that means it's probably broke and harboring all types of germs and parasites. yeah, i'd advise you not to get in it as well. yucky!

no a baby can not get into a hot tub. the water no matter how hot it is or isn't would seriously burn or kill a baby.
