I've been celibate all my life. I've had sex only once. There is a moment, just before I ejaculated; just before I was focused on only that. At that moment I saw a vision of the Hindu God Vishnu. In His four armed form (this is a famous poster by the Hare Krishna's called "Kesava Vishnu". I had seen the poster years before). He was standing in water. With cobra hoods spread over His head. An a bright effulgence behind his head shooting out rays. After that, the vision dissapeared. And my mind was totally concentrated on ejaculation. What caused me to see a picture of a Hindu God that I had seen only once? I wasn't a Hindu, but a few years later, I did become a Hare Krishna. Thank you for your help.

You were affected by your vision and sought after the hindu god.
Sexual union cannot lead to union with God perse.
But it is something that can lead to a lot of good and a lot of bad.
If you use it wisely, with that who is your spouse, you will be doing what God likes, and thus, you come closer to Him with doing what He likes.
