If Jesus hadn't been crucified on a cross but had been stoned to death, would christians be wearing a big pebble around their neck instead of a cross?

Well... the cross was a very symbolic thing , so if it were'nt for d cross then we jus might hav a picture of jesus around our necks ,
but a stone is also a possibility .

LOL. I'm a Christian myself and I often frown upon wearing a picture of a murdered man on your neck. It's ludicrious. However, it's not a matter that will keep you out of heaven. Acts 2:38 says it best people. Look it up on biblegateway.com

it didn't happen that way so, why stress ones brain on that.
and its an empty cross ;which is worn by many.its symbolic and reminder of Jesus' sacrifice for man kind.
Jesus Christ is the LIVING GOD.
where ever a cross is being shown carrying Jesus figurine its totally a wrong depiction.

Of course God would have fore shadowed that in the Temple scarifies and in the Bible. If so then people might wear a pebble.
