Not accounting for reloading the AK-47 has a slightly higher rate of fire of 600 rpm compared to your Bren's 500-550. The Bren is far more accurate, whether chambered in .303 or the slightly rarer .308 and 30.06 models. It also has over twice the range of the AK's 7.62x39mm cartridge.
"AK47 specializes in long range accuracy shooting" are you kidding? The AK is about as good for long range accuracy shooting as a sling-shot.
Even if not used on it's bipod and shoulder fired, a good marksman will be far more accurate with the Bren than the Kalashnikov. In fact early versions of the Bren were considered TOO accurate for a light machine gun becasue they did not provide enough dispersion of fire pattern.

The rate of fire of an AK 47 is about 600 rpm.
The rate of fire of a Bren gun is around 500 rpm.
But by far, the Bren Gun was the more accurate.
(Up to 1000yds/metres) . I know!!
The AK 47 is an Assault rifle normally arm rested.
The Bren is a dedicated bipod ground rested machine gun.
Wang eyd lil.......you really must stop playing with yourself!!

Jack's answer is near perfect, no point repeating it. My grandfather was a sergeant instructor with the Durham Light Infantry and then the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers (IIRC, he's long dead now). He qualified as a marksman with the Bren gun.

SKS hands down. I can barely hit the center of a piece of paper at 25 yards with an ak47. I can get a pretty small grouping with an sks.

The AK47 has a slower rate of fire than the Bren, but is much more accurate.

the rate of fire of an AK47 is roughly single shots 90-100 rds/min; bursts 400 rds/min. I've never fired a bren gun so I wouldn't know, but AK47 specializes in long range accuracy shooting, although it's not as advisable as when shooting in close range.
