I need to create a partition for Microsoft windows vista, but I cant find any good tools to use to create and resize partitions.
I want to be able to create a second partition that ts 60 gigs and leave my windows Xp at 60 gigs, thus splitting it in two pieces. I have a 120 gig hard drive. I just need to software!

if you have a hp system the partition creating tool is on the recovery cd you restart the system with your recovery cd in the drive and you click on create partition and this is done verry fast and easy with hp -systems .. now if you dont have a hp system then you can try partition magic not sure if that is free . the eays way would be too install vista on too a back up hard drive

there's a utility observed as "Partition Magic". the better section approximately it fairly is you may make partitions with desirous area in GUI i.e. image consumer interface. in reality, its like copying area from one partition and pasting it to a different rigidity. basic and yet very useful. i desire you will locate that utility someplace. attempt torrents if can't locate utility someplace else. I even have not sought for the utility for a protracted time. Regards!

You should be able to do this in XP in computer management.
