stopped recreational Vicodin. My problem is, I am STILL having withdrawal symptoms. One seems to be constant arousal. I can climax six or seven x a day.....Am I doing this for the endorphins? Is there a way to LESSEN my drive
- besides turning to opioids/sedatives, obviously?

WOW! I'm a nurse and I believe your having this constant arousal because your body is now so to speak "alive" . Benzos having a calming effect which you well know and actually "make your body's nerves ineffective. When I stopped smoking I had a constant sexual arousal and was looking forward to the excitement. So there are many drugs that can change your sex drive and then when you stop it goes wild. I do believe that after awhile this over stimulation will return to your normal state. Don't worry and do not turn back to opiates, what you can do is go back to the benzos and taper off them and avoid the pheno. That should work well. Actually that's the correct way to do it .
Keyword Benzo and you will find a site that will tell you exactly how to taper off . It's a well written and helpful site. I can't remember the name but you will find it, I'm sure. Good Luck and hang in there.

It will even out. It's a side effect of coming off the Vicodin. Vicodin abuse halts the sex drive. Now it's just waking up again. But it will subside and be more normal after you get through the withdrawals. Masturbation works well.

LOL....Now THAT'S a problem that you should be able to have fun in solving it. I'd gladly take that problem for you.

Seriously, I suspect that those effects will gradually lessen, so just enjoy them while you can. Good luck.

Contact a doctor for help coming off the stuff.
Don't take it up in the future.
