Do Christians think all Atheists are liberal?

Probably not all, but quite a few have assumed that I was a liberal Democrat, whereas I was actually a Goldwater Conservative Republican back when the Republican party actually wanted a smaller government and no deficit. I have since resigned from the Republican party, however, as it was hijacked by people who have given us bigger government, a huge deficit, and theologically inspired intrusion into my life. At this point, I'm a Libertarian.
