Who cares as long as the man works? Men have more problems with this than women do.

Well, no, but it's a little dependant on the situation. If you're just dating, it's not like they're supporting you or a family. If they are working on their career, then who cares? I have to sneak my way up the salary chart in the career I'm in, and each job that pays a little more boosts me up a little bit. If they're flipping burgers at a taco stand, or working part time because they don't feel like working more or saving for the future, then yes, it would bother me. Of course, I supported me, my husband and 2 kids for about 2 years before my husband found work, and it was because we didn't have daycare and I made the higher pay. It's all depending on the situation.

Some men do as they think then that they don't run the house. In my sitution my honey earns more then me right now but within the year i will be making 3 times as much as him but we have actually talked about this and i asked him how he felt and he said well now i make more then you and we still consider it our money not mine not yours so what will be the diff when you make more money. It is not something you need to share with everyone who makes more money. The deal we have it that any major purchases like cars or furniture we talk about. I think it takes a very secure man to not care if his wife makes more money. men are weird that way i guess

I would not mind if my boyfriend was earning a low salary, but if it was my husband I would not like it because i cant support him and myself I what I bring in.

Absolutely not. -- What ever happened to independent women? I earn more than my hubby, but I also have a better education than him. An education that I worked hard for, so therefore I deserve to earn more.

how much lower? I would be ok if it's less than 20%. the more important question is does the man know about it and if he's ok with it.
