What gets me is that people who are against stem-cell research mostly don't understand it. It amazes me how people can take such a strong stance on an issue while not knowing a think about it.

Theraputic stem-cell research has nothing to do with therapuetic cloning. In fact, the cloning of a healthy human is biologically impossible, as with any primate, Money is already being spent on private research, with how we are spending the national budget these days, why not put some of it to better use in saving some lives, instead of destroying the lives of many innocents and our own.
