Use a video splitter.. choose one depending on your video format.. google for the same or try searching in http://www.download.com

The easy answer is to use a dual layer DVD (aka DVD9) if your burner supports this format. If not, you will need either DVD authoring software, or some sort of DVD utility software that will do the split for you.

I highly reccomend DVD remake pro. It has done everything I've ever wanted and replaced over 15 other DVD software programs. It has the split feature you seek as well. I'm attaching a link for you.

DVD Shrink can compress your movie to fit on one 4.7gb disc.

why dont you buy a dl disk if your burner supports it.i dont understand why people are so cheap and will compress a movie making it look like garbage since obviously you arent paying for the original.

get a doble layer writer and doble layer blanc, one disc up to 9+ gig's.
