Put 2 inches of water in the tub. Add momma. Add toys. Turn on warm water to a drizzle. Splash in the drizzle. Throw water into the air. Invite baby. Wash momma and wait for baby to follow your lead. Do this a couple of days, then see if baby doesn't respond to toys and water without momma.

It might help to get in the tub with her. I always stretched my legs in front of me and put the bottoms of my feet together (their little head fits right in the cup between your feet) and let them lay there and play some to see that it is not going to hurt and that it isn't so scary after all. I washed their hair and used a washrag to get around their face and it worked every time! Remember children are smarter than we usually give them credit for and the first skill they perfect is getting what they want no matter how we try to help. Sometimes it takes the parent to almost force the trust and then the child gives their trust also. Good luck

my daughter went through this a few months ago. she didn't like getting water in her face. i got in the tub with her. i let her "wash" my hair with her tear free soap, and rise it out. then i washed her hair, very carefully. try to take her fear seriously. i know it is silly to us but very real to them. now she is okay in the tub alone,
(well with me watching) but she needs lots of encouraging words, and plenty of dry towels handy. i let her play for the first ten minutes or so and do the washing up last. if she has a melt down i take her out of the tub as soon as i'm done washing her. if not, she can play some more! also, i drain the water a soon as i take her out. i used to drain it when she was in it and i think that added to her fear. (maybe she thought she would get sucked down the drain?)
just be patient, don't let her see that you are frustrated and soon she will get over this fear!

Mine went through that at around 2.
You can try baths in the kitchen sink, bubble baths or try getting in with her in the tub. what finally worked with her was putting her in the shower with me and leaving the plug in the tub so it would fill up. (just a little, a few inches.) maybe the water is too deep for her comfort level.

My 14 month son has that type of fear, our solution is to make my husband take the bath with him, he like to sit on his legs while playing in the water. Hope that helps

Is there anyway you can communicate with your child to find out why they are so scared? Mine was afraid because she didn't want to get water in her eyes. SOOOOO I went out and bought swim goggles and told her they would protect her from the water, it worked great. Find something to make bath time fun and will take their minds off what is scaring them. Good Luck!

Just get into the bath with her, let her see there's nothing to be scared of :)
Choose a waterproof toy and bath that first, see if she doesn't want to join in with fun!

attempt to affiliate the bowl with good issues returned. perhaps feed him his universal treats next to the bowl? Even waft some nutrition interior the water (of course no longer biscuits....you need to attempt sausages) so the dogs realises that the bowl is a superb element. that is going to take time and staying power, even though it would artwork.
