A girl in my neighbourhood is a Jesus freak. She always were some shirts with the messages like "Jesus loves you" or "God will save you" on it. Why does she do it? Is this the way Christians advertise their religion or is she doing it purposefully to insult me?

I don't know, my nephew, after finding out that I'm not a Christian, has taking to wearing religious t-shirts that have the message "Jesus Died For You" "What would Jesus do", "Jesus is my master" and "Jesus is my hero", , etc.... I have noticed once a Christian find out you're not one of them, the will do stuff like that; going out of their way to flaunt their religion in hopes you'll convert. So I'd say, it's probably a combination of advertising and insult.

It's really a kid thing. Every kid has some stupid thing they are obsessed with. For this girl, it is Jesus. You've seen the kids in goth clothes, or ones who wear nothing but t-shirts for a certain movie. Well, this is just another variation of stupid kid obsessive behavior.
It doesn't matter what the focus is (like Jesus in this case), it's just an attempt to get attention. Kids always overdo it.

For the same reason that people wear Nike, Old Navy or any other t shirts..
Because they like them... it represents her and she seems to be proud...
Maybe she wears them as a way to spark conversations with people...
How can it insult you... do you really give that much power to a T-shirt? I am Buddhist and It would not offend me if she wore a Jesus t-shirt around me... its kinda ridiculous.
why don't you just ask her?

Well if she's a Jesus freak then that's the reason. I don't think she's purposely doing it to insult you. If you don't like what she wears then don't look at her.

She has found Christianity to be her identity, just like some kids are into heavy metal and wear those types of t-shirts. I wouldn't take it personally.

She's doing exactly what God tells us to do--share our faith, have compassion for souls, and bring people into the kingdom--don't be insulted, I'm sure she's not insulted by some of your behaviors. Maybe she's just concerned about souls.

Maybe its because she is a christain and proud of it, just like cheerleaders always wear shirts that say Cheer on them.

Just wear a Black Sabbath or Judas Priest shirt. Just make sure it suits your complexion.

I think it's just a fad thing like n'suck and backsteet wannabes. I don't think she's doing it to insult you. Also she might now know your a athiest too.
