Yes you can...but start today. 25 pounds in 10 weeks is very doable. Your goal is 2.5 lbs a week. But be diligent. Watch the caloric intake , (avoid high fat, processed and high sugar foods) and get that body moving. 3 to 4 times a week for 30 minutes to an hour at a time. Mix resistance,(weights, push ups etc.) with aerobic ( running, walking) activities. Set the goal and stick to it. It will not be easy, but you are worth it... and think how good you gonna look on your big day...and how good you gonna feel on the honeymoon....Yeah baby.

For safe and long term weight-loss the health establishment recommends 2 pounds per week at the most. If you lost 2 pounds a week from now until April 14 you would loose approximately 20 pounds. You should take into account a plateu period so to be more precise and realistic let's say 15 pounds. From my own experience with weight loss/weight gain, I have discovered that I usually drop a size every 10 pounds, this would put you at approximately at a size 10. Remember inches come off before pounds and if you are working out I would not put so much emphasis on the amount of pounds you as I would the size. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat.

You need to see your doctor or a health professional for further assistance because I do not know your personal history nor do I have MD after my name. I am speaking from my own experience only.
I hope my sharing gives you a sense of hope.

And like so many wise posters have said drink plenty of water, exersize sensibly, and stay away from diet pills and crash diets.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Alright... get on a healthy eating plan now. You might not lose 25 pounds, but you can definately get a good dent in it. Stay away from crash diets too.

Get a workout regimine together now. Especially if you have a strapless dress - I really wish I had done that, because there's nothing worse than flabby arms in the photos (I might have lost 15 pounds right before my wedding, but I still wasn't happy with the results since I skipped the exercise).

Good luck... I added the link to the free diet and exercise site that I *currently* use - wish I had found it earlier.

The only thing that can help you is a personal trainer, in my opinion. You can lose that weight in 2 months... probably more. But you want to make sure you do it so that first, you don't jeapordize your health, and second, you don't look gross!

I dont have to tell you about the health concerns - thats pretty obvious... but you want to look good... if you lose 25 pounds without toning up, you'll have loose skin and other unsightly occurances. You'll be smaller, but probably less attractive! Talk to a doctor or personal trainier that can help you lose the weight, stay well nourished, and target the places that you need to to make you look great. If you can make the commitment, then Its worth the price tag.

The "real" actual women is 5'5 and 174 pounds. 42% of women are in a size 16 or bigger, so no you are not big.

You can loose the weight. You need to eat right and exercise three times a week. Join a gym and do cardio to get your heart rate up, do some weight training and drink lots of water.

You are going to be beautiful anyway, otherwise he wouldn't be marring you! ;)

i'm sure its possible good for you for starting early and not leaving it to the last minute.
drinking water.. (but not to much cause you can get sick from over doing it with the water )
drink some green tea.. that is a detoxifier and also i've read online drinking it helps burn 100 calories.
staying away from pop, juices and sugary drinks.. is probably a good idea as well..
maybe parking further away from the doors when going places so you have to walk futher.. taking the stairs instead of esculators or elevators will probably help if you don't have time to join a gym or something

It not easy but as long as you burn more calouries than you eat each day you'll do it.

Easy ideas;

Take bread (mostly) out of your diet, if you have a lot. Its not as hard as you think. you don't need to replace it with anything either. and pasta salads with tuna/chicken/whatever are good for packed lunchs. I know sandwichs are lovely but just have them occaisionally not routinly. I used to eat it at almost every meal. Since I've stopped I don't get all the energy slumps and hunger pangs I used to.

Use the stairs rather than lifts, walk more places and dance more when you go out on the town but drink vodka or lower sugar drinks instead of beer and fizzy 'alchopops'. Though going swimming or something regularly is much better, toning as well as burning. just going to the gym is too boring to keep at.

Good luck

It's possible, but make sure you talk to your doctor. Eating smartly (no fast food, don't eat a lot of carbs) and lots of exercise could make it happen, but if you loose weight too fast you risk medical problems (and you DEFINITELY don't want that to happen right before your wedding). I had a friend who was in and out of the hospital for almost 6 months because her body went into shock because she lost 20-25 pounds in three months.

Yes. but get moving now. Proper diet, exercise and hard work will achieve your goal. And NO.....DO NOT CONSUME DIET PILLS as suggested. You will only make it worse. I wish some people would educate themselves about that.
