Hows this for a thought... Maybe the reason why gays form couples and cant have kids of their own is so they can look after the kids of others who cant, or are dead? Especailly given that kids presenters are usually camp?

Sort of like a natural pool of childless foster parents?

How will it mess anyone up in the head?

If you dont like curry, And hang around people who like curry.

Will you magically like curry? no.

If surrounded by boys into trianspotting do you catch trainspotter itus. no

Likewise if what you said was true there would be no gay or lesbian people as all would be stright as their parents were straight.

So then where is the logic that just as you have gay parents you will turn out gay?

If anything are not teenagers supposed to be straight??

So therefore is it not more likely a Son would become stud of the school or the daughter nicknamed Suzuki Maneater?

How will it benefit?

When's the last time you sawe fat gay guys?

They often regard six packs like striaght guys regard boobs.
#

Therefore you are more likly to have a kid eating healthy food not fatty suggary fast food.

Gays tend (not all) to be better cooks, m,ore creative so the kid will be a healhtier eater, and more likely a better cook and more independant.

Gays tend to be into keep fit so the kids will be more fit in tems of muscel more likely.

Which if he is a bloke would mean the girls go yum yum can I feel your muscells... And the girl could be an action girl.

Gays tend to have good female mates... Good for a daughter. Also good for girl pulling tips for the boy.

Many gays work in the media...

Lets see backstage passes, career help in TV, oh of cause if he can blag back stage passes popularity could improve.

More community feeling.

Also he can learn sneaky tricks to get with girls like pretending to be gay to pull girls...

Bit like girls pretend to be lesbians which drives the boys wild and makes them want to convert them.

He can play Im not sure... Maybe if the girls were real raunchy then I may decide im straight with girls asking...

Does this turn you on? doing gymnastics routines....

he can say not sure

I have an idea...

Maybe if you get two of your mates, give me a lap dance in bikinis, coveryourself in chocy suace and let me lick it off you whilst videos it... That may just be enough to turn me striaght...
Stripping topless.

or hint that way

So the girls try real hard to convert him. Then miracle they succeed and he realises. Im striaght, Im no longer gay.

Sneaky git :-)

Ive seen girls trying to convert gay guys ... very funny.

Or the guy may be allowed to join in a girls pjama and nightee partee as gay and so hes like one of the girls... (sneaking in a camera for the boys who convinced the girls of his gayness as he had gay parents...)

Next day he is very popular for some reason.

Likewise the daughter could also capitialse in pulling boys due to gay parents pretending to be a lesbains whos unsure about boys... (the entire class will be quing up... She call call the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...)

So you can see your fears would be unfounded.

And they will have plent of striagh influences from family and friends of the family and school...

etc.

Oh and I almost forgot...

MORALS

the kid would have far better morals nad judge of character as would not have time for nasty relgious types with their nasty thoughts and judge people by how nice they were to others.

Therefore be far more like this Jesus character who says do unto others.

Whilst those with relgious morality go around bullying kids calling them bastards, mistreating girls with boyfriends calling them whores, then we have centuries of perverted murder by the inquisition, all the child abuse in church kids homes, the ira and islamic terrorists...

Its so called god fearing types who I would not let near kids in case they turn them into suicide bombers or burn them at the stake for family honour crimes such as having a boyfriend, after they are stoned and handed over to peadophile priests

PS oh forgot... Gays tend to also be middle class, successful, in good careers so more likly to bring up educated kids who will go through uni. Plus live in safer areas

What is there to be confused about? If you are open minded, it's not confusing at all.
Yes gay people should be allowed to adopt ( and it's already happening). The benefit? One more child placed in a loving, caring family.
This has to be said again and again: the gender and number of the people bringing up a child has no effect on the child as long as the parents are loving, caring, and have the child's best interests at heart.
Many heterosexual couples could adopt but instead they desperatly try the fertility route! As if love can only be given to your own blood!

Gay people are like other folks. So, I do not realize how this could effect a child; actually, the child will learn that there are different types of families. You can't make someone be gay just like you can't make a gay person straight!!! Therefore, a gay couple's relationship will not affect how a child views their sexual tendencies!

So many religious people think that being gay is wrong and therefore, gays should be banned from being married and having children. Why don't these people actually open their Bibles and read the part that states "thou shalt not judge others".

I think gays should be allowed to adopt ,think of all those poor kids in care who could have a loving family life but people don't want that, they think that gays are all twisted and will corrupt the kids, I don't think that gay parents would flaunt there sexuality any more than a "straight" couple, give them a break

The only negative I see is that the kid might get picked on in school and might feel different from everyone else. But, this is so common among kids - kids who are poor, chubby, etc. and I think that it is more important that the child has a loving home, than for him/her to be in a similar home situation to his/her peers.

I think people end up figuring out their own sexuality. That is how some know they're gay, and others know their straight.

The mother of one of my best friends lived with a woman for a few years when my friend was little, and my friend did not end up gay or bi.

A child will thrive in a loving environment. The sexual preference of the parents will not influence the sexual preference of the child in any way. If anything it will encourage and promote acceptance.

To those who spout the religous nonsense that God thinks X,Y,Z...then please remember that the teachings are supposed to be we are all Gods children and perhaps its time the closed minded 'God squad' practiced what they preach..a little tolerance, understanding and some basic human decency!
Im sure god would rather a child be reared with 2 loving people than alone and sad in a childrens home!

Two loving parents who are healthy, pay attention to their child, and love him/her dearly will greatly benefit that child's upbringing. Makes no difference what their sexual orientation is.

(Nothing against single parents, it's just that's a huge strain on the one parent. Personally I feel it's best if there are two, or if a single parent has a strong support system of back-up babysitter types.)

By the same token, should parents not be allowed to adopt children of a different racial heritage to them unless the child become confused?

A loving family unit is far more valuble in creating a well rounded human than sexual orientation!

Gays should definatly be allowed to bring children up...and adopt
it's better than a child being abused...or something...gays are normal....they can learn their children about sexually and the chldren can choose...it has nothing to do with the parents

just because the parents happen to be gay does not mean that they are automatically going to push their agenda onto the child. In all actuality it is more accurate to assume that the child will grow in an environment that teaches tolerance and acceptance of those that happen to be different, and will make the child stronger.

And lets not forget, that most of the gay individuals in the world were raised by heterosexual individuals, all the anti gay idiots seem to forget that.

It's similar to a single-parent family. There's only one sex raising the kid(s), but as long as the parent(s) involved are doing the best they can to be good parents, who cares? Nobody takes kids away from a divorced or widowed parent because they're no longer married. Why be prejudiced against a single-sex couple?
