Hopefully must be nice place, i have not worked neither live there... i can just tell u one thing,... ppl will be ppl... u need to behave good to them to get the best behavior....

Ive worked and lived in Thailand and as they are buddist they really dont give anyone any problems unless you give them a cause to and i think that being indian isnt a cause......
Just you treat everyone as you would expect to be treated and you will be fine.....
The siamese are a lovely people...
Thailand translates to the land of smiles....
Have a great time, you will never regret it thats a promise...........

Should not be a problem. Thais are very hospitable people I have known. They are always very tolerant of visitors to their country. You will be fine there. As for living standard, the country is quite modern, so will be quite alright. I am sure the people you will be with will be happy to guide you along.
