Tell me how you would survive a hostage situation. Because we all have thought about times like this, and what we would do about it. Here's the situation: 3 terrorists blow open the door to the Oval Office. You are part of the secret service, you knocked off two of them, but the last one is a real psycho and managed to get a hold of the President. He put your President in between him and you so there's no easy shot. Do you drop the gun and comply? or go all Matrix and risk it all to be the hero? tell me

I'd go Hollywood. Shooting from the hip I'd drill him between the eyes with my "Go Ahead Make My Day" .44
Afterwards, I'd look down at the hole in his head and say a chessy one liner like "Looks like this terrorist went out to get some air".

Give those guys in the SAS a call. If the President happens to be Bush leave it to the US special forces so hopefully a shot just happens to strike Buski in the left eye.
If your in a hostage situation just keep saying the SAS are coming and watch the terrorists pants turn brown.

Well I wouldn't be secret service to begin with but in the unlikely event, I would drop the gun and comply because I would use psychological tactics and mess with the psycho's head and save the day.

Since they don't negotiate with terrorists (even for soldiers, people working at AAFES, etc - I had to watch a video about if I were taken hostage....'just remember - your friends and family will never forget you' bwahahahaha)
If I remember it tells you to pay as much attention as you can, try to find the weak spot. Cooperate...etc, blah blah blah, and not really much info.
