Different religions have different takes on the afterlife. As you probably know, the ancient Egyptians had a concept of heaven which you could reach only if your heart was weighed and found to be free of sin; Zoroaster teaches that the dead will be resurrected and purified to live in a perfected material world at the end of time. The Greeks believed that only the descendants of Zeus could go to Elysium, a land of eternal bliss. The Abrahamic religions all speak of Paradise, gained by living a righteous life, often depicted as a garden with flowing water.
A mystical take on heaven can be different than this, as heaven is a feeling that can be directly experienced even before you die. The Sufi mystics even have a saying for this: Die before death.

Heaven will be so great and glorious that our minds cannot contain the blessings and riches of heaven. It hasn't even entered into our minds the good things God has prepared for His people in heaven.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Good question, but however, i aint religous. But a good question. I do though beleive in god. Just not an idoit to devote my life to some stupid book. I mean, as long as there is a choice of books to follow, how the hell do these followers no who or what it is the right religion. Its pathetic.

We can dream all we like about what Heaven is like but I rest with the definition that Jesus gave us and it is this;
`No eye has seen no ear has heard nor has it entered into the heart of man,what God has prepared for those who love Him`

Heaven is a state of pure and permanent bliss where there is no feeling of duality or seperateness from which ever form of God you choose to worship during your conscious state.

We will get a new name, a new body, a mansion, no pain, no criing, no sickness, streets of gold, perfect weather and temperatures, the honor of being in the presence of God for all eternity.
