how come you 'think' she may ber pregnant? You knew she was in season right? You saw her mating a dog? Or did you simply let her run loose while she was in season? There is no such thing as an accidental mating. Personally I hope she isn't. There are far too many unwanted large breeds of dogs in rescue centres as it is without your litter swelling their numbers.
Get her spayed. The vet can take away the pups and spay her at the same time.

Take your dog to the vet and have her checked. The vet can tell how many pups, but not in the very early stages of pregnancy.

While you are there, get an estimate of how much all of the vet care before and after the puppies will cost you. You may want to consider spaying her.

When she files the papers for puppy support and a Petition For Protective Order against you.

Get a DNA test. The puppies might not be yours. No matter how much you love her, you shouldn't raise someone else's puppies.

I have a friend who is paying out the wazoo for Fancy Feast and those stupid cat condos, all because his favorite ***** got pregnant and he wanted to do the "right thing" and not take a DNA test. Now he's stuck with the bills, and the mom is catting around in alleys while the kittens are being taken care of by every tom cat with one eye and patchy fur.

Take your dog to the vets to get a scan. You'll know how many you're dealing with. Their teats should get bigger when pregnant and bitches (female dogs sometimes start getting their 'nest' ready when their days away from giving birth. Good luck.

A blind man was standing on the corner with his dog when the dog
raised his leg and wet on the man's trouser leg.

The man reached in his pocket and took out a doggie biscuit.

A busybody who had been watching ran up to him and said, "You
shouldn't do that. He'll never learn anything if you reward him when he does
something like that!".

The blind man retorted, "I'm not rewarding him. I'm just trying to find his mouth so that I can kick him in the ****

if your dog is pregnant the only way to know before she drops (others than the vets) is her teets will swell and milk will be present if you squeeze them lightly. but without going to the vets you will not be able to know how many

if she is showing you can feel her tummy, if it feels hard then there's a big chance she is and if your careful you might be able to feel how many there are.
