If u were a male farmer or builder in your 50s, would you buy an expensive piece of machinery from a girl in her 20s, or would you prefer to deal with a man? Be honest now, you're allowed to be sexist in your answer.

Well, I'm only thirty, but I come from a long line of farmers. And I can tell you that as long as you were straightforward in what your were selling to me, I would buy it from you. As far as being cute and 20, I've dealt with a whole lot of, shall we say, slightly older men, who were nowhere near worth looking at! Take care, and thanks for the honest question.

I think if you KNOW what your machine was worth--in its current state (used (for how many years--wear, tear, and care) or new), you shouldn't potentially have a problem.

The act of selling between two people is dependent on the dynamics and personality of both...even that of the 20 year old. A 20 year old female may lack knowledge about the item...may lack negotiating skills...may be pretentious and dishonest or intelligent, honest, down to earth with a good head on her shoulders. A man in his 50's may have the cultural belief that it is easier to buy things from a male...its a cultural double-standard. Females, more than likely, might KNOW more about their machine than is assumes and wont be bamboozled to the point of underselling their property...this happens guy to guy, too. But, I know many people that would buy, hire to work, sell women large machinery based on the idea that they are better on the machinery than men.

Good luck!

You would find that most men of that age will be thinking that they could get a good deal from a girl as they would assume that they know more about the plant then you do...
Then you will get the old guys that try and hit on you, getting off on talking to a young girl...
So i would suggest that you give it a go, it may work in your favour.
You know how much that the plants worth so dont let it go for any less.....
and yes im a 40 yr old guy that buys and sells plant and i have and would buy from a young lady if the machine is what i want and in the right condition for the price.......
Most people with a brain really dont care nowadays........
Good luck.........................

Why do no longer you in basic terms shop your 1999 motor vehicle to stay away from this entire concern? actual, it seems such as you go with for medical care & no longer a sparkling motor vehicle. FYI: together as you ex might have been a gold digger, no longer all women care what motor vehicle you force or are gold diggers. in my opinion, i could no longer enable you be attentive to what season specific outfits come out, if a definite sort replaced into dressmaker or call/sort/300 and sixty 5 days of any form of activities motor vehicle somebody is driving. yet, I somewhat have a doctorate; subsequently, I concentration on memorizing extra substantial data in existence. besides, in case you seem to continually entice those "gold diggers," replicate for a 2d on your self on the grounds this is something different than the vehicle this is to blame. I especially doubt you're driving the vehicle the 2d you're saying "hi, can i've got your variety?" the place do you p.c.. up those women? Do all of them have the right comparable look? (all tall, length 0, intense vogue wearing, very captivating women?) Do all of them stay at abode with their father and mom and are waiting for Mr spectacular to guard them? As for a motor vehicle, purchase a hybrid. With gasoline drawing close $5 this summer season, that is rather well worth the investment. regardless of each little thing, in case you carry on the pump, you will need extra money for women to dig.. LOL

I'm a 30 year old builder.. But even when i'm 50 i'd buy something off an alien if it was worth the money and decent quality..
The only trouble you might have is, because your a woman I think people would try to knock down the price with creative lies and think they could get away with it..

A female would have to really prove her knowledge, as would a young person, for me to trust them enough to purchase a large item like that. A young female would have two strikes against her that she would have to overcome.

In the end, I do my own research, and it will come down to price and service.

I guess I would wonder if it has been properly maintained. If you have some maintenance documentation -- or better still proof you hadn't used it much, it might be an advantage.

The maintenance documentation would establish that it was maintained by professionals. That's better than the woner doing the maintenance -- all things considered.

If the price was right and you were knowledgeable about the equipment, I wouldn't care if you were 12.

Depends on the guy. I would think they may trust you more. They would probably prefer, I know I would, talking to a girl in her twenties than a guy. So I'd think you'd have an advantage in most cases.
