If Adam and Eve existed before cavemen, and Adam and Eve could converse and talk like civilized people and were clean shaven and walk upright.....then how could cavemen go so far downward after Adam and Eve (ie. couldn't talk to each other, walk hunched over, hairy all over their bodies).

Man's perception of cavemen is off a bit. We (Christians) are just as sure as anyone that man used to live in caves, why would they not if there were caves available?? Adam and Eve clean shaven? Ummm that's not a Christian doctrine. When did man not walk upright? That is merely an assumption made by those who believe man evolved from ape-like creatures. No one knows exactly what the first spoken language was but there is no evidence that man was ever unintelligent.

I don't think Adam was clean shaven.The "Caveman" concept is more or less B.S.,Civilizations started very quickly.Most of the cavepeople were the ones who pushed out into Europe,where it was very cold for some time.Caves were temporary shelters when huts weren't enough to block the elements.Ususally they used caves for religious ceremonies thinking they led to the center of the Earth.That's why they painted in them so much.

Adam and Eve were the first HUMANS. Cave men may not have been HUMANS. Cromagnons, Homo Erectus, maybe...but not Homo Sapiens.
When God created Adam, what did He do? What does it mean to be made in God's image?
I believe this means He gave man a soul, intellect, and a mind.
