No, that's not true. It's ignorant people like you who think they know a religion and make statements like this. Terrorists are the same way, they think they know Islam but in reality they are full filling someone's political agenda. If they spend some time learning about Islam, they will find out that Islam forbids committing suicide or killing innocent people. The terrorist leaders are using Islam to motivate the ignorant crowd and telling them that it's ok to blow them selves up. It's sad that these suicide bombers take the word of their so called "Leader" and do not bother looking it up or asking someone else if what they are about to do is allowed in Islam.

The first people to blow themselves up were the Israelis. Maybe your forgetting the Japanese kamikazes, the IRA, the Basque separatists of Spain, The Unibomber etc...

As far as I know, it's the only religion to do so. Saves on prison cells, but think of all the innocents these animals take with them. What have these people ever done to deserve to die along with a maniac with a back-pack? It serves no purpose, other than to hate these cowards even more

Terrorists have been in every religion. Blowing things up is just fairly new.
The IRA (Irish Republican Army) battles are Catholics versus Protestants, and they have had car bombs for years.
Night raids...death squads...jihads...crusades..."God gave us this land"...this has existed for well over 5000 years. Islam is only about 1500 years old (give or take).
