Can you suggest a theme, or a story opener to inspire me?

i had this problem just a couple of days ago- im usually quite on top of what i want to write about, but this day i just sat and stared at my paper for around an hour, completely drawing a blank. i was in the library, and so decided to get some help from the others in the room, i ween round with a spare piece of paper and asked everyone who didnt look too engrossed in what they were doing to write a few words or sentence down, just the first thing that came into their minds- when i had about fifteen different lines, i went back to my chair, looked at the paper and these ar some of what i found:
1, Strangely, I'm not too bothered about being bothered
2, I need to pick up my dry-cleaning
3, Monkeys like nuts
4, How long is time?
5, Okaaaaaay
6, Bludy weirdo
7, She suddenly sat up, narrowly missing banging her head on the low roof and blinked the tiredness out of her hazel brown eyes
8, i can't cry anymore, all the tears have gone
9, i just want to be left alone, why can't anybody do that
10, The tiny, bedraggled squirrel climbed inside the pocket of the warm fleece and curled up into a ball, thinking no-one would fin him there....
If these don't help you at all, why not try a similar idea, maybe with a group of friends or your family?
hope this helps

writing stories is what I'm good at but you need to start with what type of story, true life, fiction, horror, etc, then start thinking about the main characters, write a beginning, middle and an end then work around them their not set in stone so you can always change them, i find this helps me because you get the base of your story without even thinking about it.

How about a horror story or a true ghost story, or even a story about some teachers and how mean they are to kids and how they lock them up because they don't like them.
