without me at his side. I can only look back now and say for sure, there were reasons from childhood of when father was not there for us children, he taught us what not to do without knowing. it was not by choice that i could not be there , it was from his teachings an unseen hand kept us apart i felt it most days in my heart. he did not ask for an obituary or a funeral. i can understand all that needed to be said was said between us, I can not be there when they place him in the ground i live too far away and i would not ask for any help to get me there because i know how life is. I simply wanted to share with someone other than those i know and yes I love my father and only heaven knows.

I lost my mother very suddenly and unexpectedly. She was not ill she was in fact very healthy. She was a police officer that was killed during a traffic stop. EMS tried to do CPR on her all the way to the hospital. My dad, sister, brother, nephews, brother in law, and neice were all there when her time of death was called. I was not. They said goodbye to her, I could not. I don't know how to make you pain easier, because its been 3 yrs for me and I'm still waiting for it to get easier. I do want you to know though there is a program that most airlines officer to give you discounted rates in times of a family emergency such as this. Check into it if you have any funds available which I do understand at times people don't.

My father died very unexpectedly nearly 3 years ago. He was only 47 in the prime of his life, playing squash he was when he had a heart attack it was very quick nothing could of saved him. I miss him so much and i always will. Time does seem to make the pain easier to deal with and instead of anger i think of happy times and look ahead to the time when i and you will see our fathers again that is what keeps me going
