He is good when it comes to goin the bathroom outside. I take him out before I head to bed, and he waits till I get up. He started crying to get out around 4-5 in the morning and it's like diarhea. But I have no clue what is goin on. I gave him treats that he has never had, but I stopped two days ago. But, the problem is still here. What might this possibly be?

Hmm... well, I wish I knew how long he'd been doing it...

It could just be something that he'll soon get over... I'm guessing that if he's been doing it a few days, it's not that likely.

Try this, give your dog carrots. Carrots are used by alot of people to control diahrea in their dogs and to regulate their digestive system. My dog will personally eat a whole carrot raw, but not all dogs will. You can try cooking them and mashing them up. Carrots have a naturally sweet flavor, and are extremely good for dogs and their digestive system.

If this is just a phase, carrots should work. I still wouldn't rule out taking him to the vet. If he's been doing it for more then just a day or two, I definitely think he should see someone, even if the carrots make it stop, because it oculd be a sign of a bigger problem.

I am not too sure what it could be, but he should probably see a veternarian, since it sounds like he's had this longer than 24 hours. Or even just a phone call if you can't afford the expense. My vet is very good about that. Does he have blood in the diarhea?... has he vomited as well?... does he seem in pain or have troubles breathing? These all signs of something else wrong. If none of these are present then it is possible that treat from before is still upsetting his system. A phone call can put all your worries aside though!

My puppy, the one in my icon, did the same thing. We had given her new treats and I suspected it was that. She got up to go to the bathroom at around 2-3 in the AM then again at 8 AM. I was very suspicious as the diarrhea progressed for the next 24 hours and she had oto go more frequently. Come to find out she had a parasite in her stomach. I would suggest getting a stick or something and almost "sift" through the diarrhea just to see if there's anything out of the ordinary in there. If by the next morning she is still having diarrhea, call the vet and make an appointment to see them as soon as possible. To make it easier on the vet though, try to gather up a stool sample in a plastic bag to bring with you to the vet. This will make the results a lot easier and faster to find.

Good luck with your dog and I hope everything clears up!
