I already tried to drink soda but I just threw it back up. Any medications make me feel worse.

Have you tried Emetrol? It's a medicine, but it's specifically for nausea. If you sip on it for a little bit, you should feel 100% better. Otherwise, ginger often helps as well. You can get that in the form of ginger tablets, ginger tea and (always a favorite), ginger ale. Good luck!

Why ARE you being sick?

The most important thing is not just to feel better but to GET better.

Nausea alone is rarely cause for concern when it is due to motion sickness but is that what the problem is?

Doubt it if you are experiencing vomiting of liquids! And meds?!

:-O

1. Pinpoint why you are being sick and address that.
2. Know that being sick and not retaining fluids is bad. Dehydration will set in eventually if not careful so drink plain things without fizz. If possible do drink something which contains sugar and some salts but I appreciate that this might be tricky. Drink that which you LIKE. It can often help make you feel worse to drink something you don't like anyway. So if you hate milk, avoid it. On the other hand if you love it, it is probably better than not drinking.
3. Get off the computer. That is bound to not help you just now.

:-D

Get better soon.

Sorry to have to say this, but soft drinks are about the worst thing you can take when you're throwing up.

What you should do mostly depends on why you're sick. If it's food poisoning, it should stop in a few hours (although those hours may feel like centuries to you), and until then there's not much you can do about it. If it's a biological disease, on the other hand, which is less likely, it may not go away so soon and it might be a good idea to get medical help.

make some jello if you can, you may not want it now, but perhaps later it will sound good, and it takes a while to set. try going to sleep. maybe take a shower or a bath, that always helped me. if you can stomach a little crackers try to get something in your tummy, then you might not feel so sick. try a little sprite or gingerale, but only a couple sips, and dont drink water(or at least not a lot) or make yourself throw up so you feel better. i hope you feel better, there is nothing worse than throwing up in my book.

Sorry. This really sucks. If you have bad food poisoning, you have to wait it out a bit. Try to rest as much as you can. Don't spend time on the computer. Lie down.

Stuff that can be easy on the stomach: toast, chicken broth/soup. Don't use ice if you drink soda, I think it could make you get sick again.

Get off the computer, girl. Get better.

Soda is the worst thing to drink when your sick. Just get a little bit of clear liquid and drink a little at a time till you can hold it down. Just really sleep it off and let it runs its course.

Boil some popped rice (not puffed) and drink that water several times This will stop the vomiting. some indian stores sell them or you can make them yourself. Soak and wash the rice and drain. Then put it in a dry hot skillet and keep on moving it around using a wooden spoon. When it starts to pop watch out and can reduce the fire little bit and be careful not to burn. when majority of the rice is popped, you can take it out and boil it with water and drink.

hi, first you need to make sure you do not get dehydrated. If you continue to throw up for more than 12 hrs. I would go see your doctor. You could try saltine crackers. Also, try taking a bath or shower. they make a suppository for throwing up. You could try pep-to?(not sure how to spell) I just got over the flu myself, and that is what I had to do. The suppository is a great choice because it is not something you have to put down your stomach. Could you be pregnant? hope you feel better.

Ugh.

Not much to do but keep sipping clear liquids. Flat soda. Gatorade or other sports drinks are best. Room temp, not cold, or they will make you cramp more.

They'll come back up for a while, but just sip a little to keep yourself from drying out too bad.

Try Gatorade, ice chips, or plain water, anything to keep you hydrated. There is over the counter nausea medicine you can buy as well. Just try and get as much rest as you can. Maybe eat some crackers or chicken noodle soup. Hope you feel better.
