You should really try tresemme color thrive shampoo and they also have a cream and spray you can use to help lock in your color it really works my friends use it all the time and their hair looks really good.

Same boat. I use the TreSemme products. There is a shampoo and conditioner for brown hair (actually, I think it's brunnette/red). They're only a little over 3 bucks for a big bottle at WalMart. TreSemme also carried another color thrive product. It comes in a cream or a spray. It really works. It's also about 3 dollars. I had mair hair colored a couple of months ago, and the color looks great still. Just a little faded, but for a couple of months, that's great, and it doesn't look red-ish at all. It's not faded enough to get it done again yet.

My hairdresser always recommends changing your shampoo and conditioner regularly so I have a few favourites that I alternate between, Pantene and Asda's own Henna & Plum are top for me. I find Henna Intensive Deep Conditioning wax very good for brown hair whether Coloured (been doing it for years) or Natural. It's made by a company called Beauty Formulas. It isn't targetted for coloured hair but I find the colour lasts longer and it's general condition greatly improved. I use it once a fortnight instead of the normal conditioner!

I'm always colouring my hair i use tresemme shampoo and conditioner, it helps keep the colour and shine to my hair, as long as the die is properly washed from your hair to begin with.

tea tree shampoo also works well.

No i ahve red hair and it is the worst colour for holding into you hair.I have started using pantene red expressions, which can be used on normal or coloured hair..It makes the colour hold and it also gives your hair a definate shine.....Try that and see what happens...

i always had this problem, i dyed my hair strawberry blonde once (my natural color hair is brown) and then i dyed it dark brown and it always fades back into strawberry blonde. its quite annoying. my dyes come with a conditioner that helps avoid fading. the best shampoos that i would recommend would be pantene pro-v. (they have one for color-treated hair)
