How do u gel down ur edges?

I've been wanting to for a while but i don't know how. I did it once but it dried up and wouldn't stick to my head.

I would mositen the eges first with water, then add a little thick oil or grease, and then use the gel. make sure that the gel has minimal acholhol in it though, because the alcohol has a drying effect and this will dry the hair and it will not lay right.

Dont use gel, they make the hair hard, dry and break off. Use a hair oil and a baby brush or do what I did bought a soft toothbrush and my hair lays flat.
