Yeah its a generalization but I don't feel like being specific. All of the posts from pagans and my own personal experience has led me to one conclusion. As christians we forget sometimes to see our creator in his creation.

I do not believe that he and creation are one in the same no more than an artist is his or her painting or sculpture. However, you do see the love, creativity, and spirit in it.

When I am in the middle of a forest, away from the bustle of the city, I feel a great spiritual presence. For me, that is God's spirit.

As such we also have done a bad job taking care of the earth and its creatures.

Agree or Disagree?

I agree. The ones who do not believe in God "enjoy" creation more than we who are believers worship the creator. I know non- Christians are out there trying to save the whales, and doing good things to save the rain forests. Thanks for reminding us that when we see a sunset, a beautiful forest, the ocean and lakes to look to God and thank Him for the beautiful creations that He has made for our enjoyment. We need to worship the Creator.

Well this is because God has great Mercy. Just because there is a such thing as truth out there, does not mean that the God who created the Universe would leave the rest of mankind out. Consider, if you will, how there are about 30,000 different Christian denominations (and growing) in America today. Somehow, most, if not all of all these groups have some form of miracles. Would you then agree that 30,000 different versions of the truth IS actually truth? Of course not, but God is Merciful. Simply because someone might read their Bible, Torah, or Koran does not mean that they are cut off from God completely. Do you think a loving God would send someone to hell just because they do not have a particular faith? Of course not, for every man has his own fruit, whether good or bad. The reasoning here is that the Christian form of God would love all humankind. But who is right concerning truth? We may never know, except that only one man came to this Earth, said he was God in the flesh, got his message out, and then died. How does that relate today? Well the majority of the world's population is Christian today, all because of this one man. Kinda sounds like a miracle, doesn't it? I am an Orthodox Christian. This form of doctrine has not changed in 2000 years. Do not believe new doctrines! Hope this helps.

God is not in the universe She is the universe.

She created the universe from the only thing that She had available, Herself.

You and the most distant star from you in the universe both exist within the idea of God.

This is a difficult concept for most people to comprehend because they have been taught nonsense about God. Like the idea that God lives far away on a cloud called heaven. God is not a raindrop. Raindrops live in clouds Not God. This is foolishness.

Jesus told us that the kingdom of God is within us. This is true because each and every one of us exist as a part of God. We live and move within our loving source. There is no moment or possibility that we can ever be apart from her.

Forget the silly stories that you have been told about a distant God that lives in the clouds. Look around you. Everything that you see is God.

Love and blessings.
Don

I disagree. I am a Christian. There are times I go to the wilderness, sit in the midst of God's creation, and worship Almighty God. In that still place, the power of God is manifest and as I commune with Him I feel a peace unsurpassed, through Christ Jesus.

I would have to disagree.

I think that anyone who lives in the city is going to feel spiritual when they get out of the city and into the country and woods, after all we were made to be in a garden.

I agree that we have not taken care of the earth. I personally feel extreamly close to God when I am out in nature. I had my honeymoon in Yosemite, and that place just makes you so mindful of the beauty that God created.

Maybe pagans understand the earth better, but they dont understand who God is. He is so much more than what they make him to be. The put him in a box.

It depends on the Christianity. Many traditional Christian denominations are panentheistic (NOT pantheistic), and practice spiritual development through the contemplation of nature.

*As a pagan and a former Christian I agree. We understand that diety is everywhere and in everything, everything that is, has a part of diety in it. Every thing has life and a consiouness. That is why we ask permission to use thing that we need. *

Disagree.

I think Pagans are even more self-deluded than Christians.
