I don't know any intelligent person who disapproves of immigration- most of us are here because of immigration- the difference is- our ancestors came through Ellis Island, they learned the language, they took all legal measures to become naturalized citizens and they worked hard ot build America up, contributing to the system and not just taking form it.
What i have a problem with is ILLEGAL (key word there ) aliens, people that come here and do what they want, suck the life from the system and do nothing to put back into it - they have no interest in becoming legal citizens and want to turn our country into the same mess they are running from- there is a huge difference and it is nothing more than ignorance to act like there is not.

I would be an idiot if I thought I could go to another country and demand them to change their ways and laws to accomodate me- to walk all over the citizens of that country and basically spit on those whose home it is so I can live the way that I want- then try to overrun their coutry with my ideas and demands. If I wanted to move to another country I would be prepared to live according to the laws of their land, have the courtesy to learn their ways and language, I would want to be there legally and contribute to as well as take from their systems- it is nothing more than selfishness and greed to think otherwise.

Here we are fighting a war that we cannot win all the while there is a conquering invasion in our country that we are closing our eyes too. And ignorant citizens of America are laying out the welcome mat! Illegal- they are committing a CRIME by forcing their way in and not taking the proper steps and measures to give them the right to live , work and collect assisstance here - all the while there are those who are working hard, really learning the language and know American history better than most born and bred citizens- it is a slap in the face to those that would do the right thing and do what it takes to do things legally and it is a slap in the face to our ancestors who came and made this country what is being so callously destroyed today.

I totally APPROVE of LEGAL immigration.

These days there are millions, probably billions that want to escape poverty & disease in their undeveloped country. When they illegally hit the shores of developed countries they bring their culture, language and lifestyle with them and scream discrimination and racism if you try to direct them from the corrupted life they left.

They want us to drop our laws so they can live like they did in their country. Drinking and driving, drugs, rape, murder for honor, prostitution, stealing and corrupt officials are an accepted way of life where they come from. They say our laws are racist and discriminate against them, so they refuse to obey them. Add to that, their worse of the worse hardened criminals/gang members/drug runners follow them, therefore the new adopted country ends up like the one they left. America already had it's fair share of evil people here, with the added weight of evil illegals, our country is well on it's way to being another third world cesspool.

This love of globalism some people have will be the destruction of us all. If the people from all undeveloped countries continue to invade the developed ones, it won't be long till there's at least a billion people in each one. This means no space, no privacy and no peace. The natural resources in these overwhelmed countries will dry up and air pollution will consume us. Globalism is not the answer, it's the problem.

I was always content with staying in the USA, never had an interest in learning another language or culture. But because of illegal immigration with 10 thousand a day sneaking across our border with Mexico, their language and culture is forced down our throat. 300 million Americans are being forced to assimilate to 20 million Latinos. And from what I hear the wealthy Mexican government wants ALL their poverty imported into the US, which means about another 50 million people. In fact Mexico is patrolling both sides of our border. They won't allow illegal Americans to cross over to Mexico as they push thousands a day of their people illegally into our country. When our Border Patrol trys to stop illegals, especially the drug runners, Mexico crys racism, says America is violating the Mexican citizens civil rights, has them arrested and sent to prison. This is turning me off on immigration.

For the most people who disapprove,of immigration see the hand outs given to asylum seekers. £12,000 to set up a house for them. Having worked for and paid taxes on their own homes. The £12,000 is just the start up figure. Then continued support from their taxes.

Yes, New Zealand would be the way to go.I recently went to visit my wife's family in NZ and had a blast. The conversation at the dinner table involved america and their free will immigration problems. Some groups known for being illegals in america have the hardest time entering New Zealand.

First of all, most of us don't really mind immigration, what we don't like is ILLEGAL immigration.
Illegal immigration has been a problem for decades and American people have been complaining about it for decades, so why can't the government do what they promise and deal with it?? Answer: they want the illegal's votes. What we NEED to do is everyone(everyone against illegal immigration)needs to send a letter to their senator and every other person in authority every week about how discusted we are with how they are dealing with it(the immigration problem), that's what I'm going to do once I turn 18. WE ARE AMERICA, NOT IMMIGRATION LAND.

usually they are the ones that move to spain because they are 'sick of foriegners in their country' and then demand egg and chips in spanish restaurants.

Of course its different if they move to another country because they are white and speak english as should all locals in the costa brava (this is what goes on in their tiny little minds).

The same people who disaprove if an immigrant doesnt work and if they do they are stealing a job off a British person.

Why move? We are here legally.

To the retard below me, when are ancestors were here there were no immigraiton laws. America wasn't even America yet. People flowed in and out freely because there were no borders, and no established laws. America had not yet been colonized, and even in the early 1800's, immigrants were welcomed in an effort to establish a money making industry in order for the country to thrive. The difference between now and then is the fact that there are borders, and we don't need them.

people who disapprove if immigrating usually fail to recognize that north America was build upon immigration.

And yes people with a bug in their bums will always have a bug in their bums and upon moving to another nation would probably find something wrong with their society, laws or policy, probably immigration since the idea of hypocrisy seems lost on about 80% of people.

Immigration is fine (for America). Illegal immigration is a crime and we don't need any more criminals in fact we need to deport each and every illegal immigrant and their anchors and supporters.

those people who disapporve with immigration are disapproving with their ancestors because they immigrated into this country as well. If they don't like, too bad it's something that cannot be stopped no matter what, everyday peoplpe come into this country seeking a better life for themselves. We should open up the borders nad get rid of I.c.e people, they're the problem
