How to study?

if I have short attention span and get distracted easily?

I've been having this problem lately myself. Before class, I try to have read the material so that I am hearing the information for the second time and I can ask questions on things I don't understand. I take a lot of notes - because I know I will not remember things after class. I also like to rewrite them - again another chance to get a look at the material. Finally, I try to find a place where it is relatively (if not completely) quiet. No TV, no Radio etc. That is when I read my assignments or study my notes a little bit at a time. I know it sounds like a lot, but it seems to work for me.
