You need to get the police in whatever town in Kansas he lives in and inform them of this situation. This is kidnapping plain and simple. Also you should be your wife's POA not her father. She either agreed to be in the institution or was put there against her will. Since she isn't a minor, She does have rights.Get yourself to Kansas and be more proactive about this situation. Is there more to this, than you are telling? If you have some sort of criminal misconduct that makes the child/and or wife unable to reside with you, than you should still seek the advice of your parole officer etc.. If there are no allegations or bad records in your past get going and get your son back and help your wife out she needs you to be strong for her.

First of all... you are the legal father of the child. Show up with the Sheriff and get your baby! Secondly, they can not admit her unless she goes through a phyciatric evaluation and diagnose her! If in fact they have admitted her without the aid of a second opinion obtained by you for her...you definitely have the right to sue the pants of the them. If, however, they can prove that she is in need of this kind of psychiatric help...you need to accept that she may have something going on that you have not wanted to see. If that is so, you need to be loving and supporting and not so angry.

Call the local sherrif and get your son. It's kidnapping, unless you are not the legal guardian. As for your girl, the only way they can keep her is if she is a danger to herself or others. That has to be proven by a doctor. Call the hospital, they'll probably just let you come pick her up. First and foremost, call the police and get your child man!

You need to call the mental hospital, and speak to the director and tell him the situation. She needs to be examined to see if she is really ccrazy if she passes the test she will be able to go home other than she will beplaced in there for a long time. Just go to the mental hospital personally and see how you can take care of it... good luck

This is no doubt a joke question. You cannot just have someone put into a mental hospital, not in today's world. There are too many folks who need to be there and can't get in. Try asking a more believable question.

You need to get a good lawyer someone you trust. Then you and the lawyer needs to talk about what is going on. You need to know her background, like medical history, then you need to get a date set up to go to court or whatever the lawyer has in mind.

There would be no legal reason for the father to have your child. Call the police. Technically it's kidnapping.

Her dad CANNOT have her institutionalized. She is an adult and can sign herself out. The only stipulation to hold her in would be if doctors considered her a danger to herself or others.
