Maybe....especially when I was younger. But at some point a person realizes that their own belief in themselves is enough to validate them and that being asked out is not the measure of whether or not they are attractive. Sometimes the stronger and more independent a woman is the less she will be asked out b/c guys like to manipulate the women with low self esteem. Most guys can't deal w/a female that is viewed as being on 'equal footing'.

You should know your hot whether or not your being hit on or asked out. Maybe women intimidated by your intelligence or style. Be confident, and don't let that get you down. They shouldn't have a great impact on your self-esteem. Being sought after can boost your self-esteem, but it shouldn't lower it.

No way. You need to have enough belief in yourself that something of that sort wouldn't bother you in the least. If YOU believe you are attractive and worthwhile, then others will believe that too. It all comes from within.

You will have a miserable life if you base your worth on acceptance from other people. Accept yourself and put what other people think very far down on the list of things that are important.

If you have a hard time doing that, then just imagine that you're not getting asked out because guys/girls think you're TOO attractive and are afraid of rejection from you. :-)

Not at all. Often I will change my body language to avoid being hit on. I'm secure in who I am, I don't look for men to validate that for me.

No, why would you think that? Sometimes it's best stress wise because you don't have to worry about him cheating on you.
